Devi Prasad Verma Foundation was instituted to promote ideals of late Shri Devi Prasad Verma who was snatched away from us by the cruel hands of destiny. He passed away in an accident on May 5, 2006.

He was an ideal teacher in Sitapur. Therefore his family wanted to setup academic institutions in his loving memory in a place where he spent his entire life. For this purpose Devi Prasad Verma Foundation was registered in October 2006. And subsequently members of the Society decided to set up a degree college in his memory. With the grace of God we succeeded in our endeavour and could establish the college “Shri D. P. Verma Memorial Degree College” on his 52nd birth day, i.e. January 31, 2007.
